The short version: We don't sell your data. We don't store your capsule art. We collect only what's needed to run the service and process payments. We use Stripe for payments and Anthropic's API for analysis — both have their own privacy policies.

We do not store, log, or retain your capsule art images. When you upload an image, it is sent directly to Anthropic's API for analysis and is not written to any database or file system on our end. Once the analysis is returned, the image data is discarded.
Anthropic's handling of data submitted to their API is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. By using CapsuleGrader, you acknowledge that your image is processed by Anthropic's systems.

CapsuleGrader does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to store your subscription access token on your device. This data never leaves your browser except when sent to our server to verify your subscription status. It is not used for tracking or analytics.
We do not currently use any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics). If this changes, this policy will be updated and users will be notified.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above (Stripe, Anthropic, Cloudflare) and only to the extent necessary to operate the service.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted environment variables for API keys, and Cloudflare's infrastructure security. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CapsuleGrader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
